Hopkins District Library Board Meeting

May 4, 2017

Call to Order – Karon Dunifin at 7:14pm.

Roll Call Present: Karon Dunifin, Mimi Gabriel, Sandy Morris, Traci Rhoades, Barb Wrobleski, Amy Germain

Absent: Morgan Coon, Lynn Francis

Approval of Agenda – Mimi made a motion, seconded by Amy.

Public Comment – none

New Busines: Direct Hire - The hiring committee (with Karon and Mimi representing the Hopkins library) recommended we hire Elyshia Schafer as our new library director. She has served as interim director for the past couple months.

Voting took place via roll call: Mimi (yay), Amy (yay), Sandy (yay), Barb (yay),

Karon (yay), Traci (yay).

Adjournment – Barb made a motion and Mimi seconded. The meeting adjourned at 7:50pm.

Next meeting will be Tuesday, May 9th, 2017 at 7:00 p.m.
